"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel" (Isaiah 7:14). During the Christmas season, we celebrate the first advent of Christ. However, often in our busyness and day-to-day activities, we overlook the significance of the incarnation. Once disaster or trial hits, many of us are left feeling abandoned. We ask the question, "Where are you, God?"
But it's not without reason that the prophet Isaiah referred to the promised Savior as Immanuel, "God with us." Drawing from his life-story, TC shares a message of hope and encouragement and reminds us that God is with each of us and that He will never abandon us.
