Was Jesus just a good moral teacher? No. One could not say the things Jesus said and simply be a good moral teacher. As C.S. Lewis argues, one who said the things Jesus said must either be a liar, or a lunatic... or he could be telling truth. If he were telling the truth how would we know it? This is the purpose of the resurrection. Only God Himself could predict and accomplish his own death and resurrection, and if Jesus did indeed rise from the dead, then it changes everything.
