What really matters in your life? When you survey your life's accomplishments, what would you boast and be proud of? Some might list particular awards. Some athletic or career accomplishments, maybe. Others might consider their family, lifestyle, or moral code. Paul counts these things as "rubbish" compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Jesus Christ his Lord.
